The Union des artistes modernes, abbreviated by the acronym UAM, is a movement of artists, decorators and architects founded in France in 1929 by Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Charles Édouard Jeanneret (Le Corbusier), Pierre Jeanneret and Robert Mallet-Stevens.Stopped by the Second World War, the UAM resumed its activities with the exhibitions "Formes utiles" from 1949 onwards.
